Covid 19 Announcement

Dear Customers, Suppliers and Associates,

In light of the latest developments over the past 24 hours in respect of the global crisis caused by COVID-19, now would seem to be a pertinent time to inform you of the measures we are taking as a company in managing this unprecedented situation.

First and foremost, the welfare of our staff alongside that of our visiting customers, suppliers and associates remains paramount to us and is why we have now embarked upon a series of measures to ensure that we do everything we can in playing our part complying with the ever changing landscape of daily advice.

During the course of today, in line with the Government’s advice issued yesterday evening, we have deployed home-working measures to our office based staff who are able to work from home. Our operations will continue to function as they would if we were in situ in our offices and we have the appropriate communication and IT infrastructure in place enabling us to manage our workflow as normal. Naturally, we can all expect there to be some minor issues with this which have been experienced throughout the day with mobile phone networks behaving intermittently but we have a full range of e-mail, video conferencing and mobile phones in place to ensure total continuity of our business.

We have scaled back our mail-order operations to ensure efficiencies under this new way of working and this could result in orders taking a few additional days to process and despatch than normal. Our staff processing these orders will be doing so with additional hand-washing measures in place to ensure that we maintain the highest possible hygiene standards.

While this is not ideal we have been testing our systems and processes over the last week and they have worked very well. Our systems are robust, we have a resilient business model and a strong dedicated team which I am sure will see us through the current difficulties.
